All of them, those in power, and those who want the power, would pamper us, if we agreed to overlook their crookedness by wilfully restricting our activities.

Marc Headley v. Church of Scientology International (Case no. BC 404 958) (January 2009)
Glosslip Radio (May 9, 2008): "Marc Headley interview"
MH: They met up in a restaurant in L.A. and this girl from OSA, Kirsten Cattaneo, that’s her name. She told him that if they could dig up, create some kind of dirt or any kind of blackmail material on me, and if he could help her on that, since we were good friends, then they’d let him see his mom again for that information. That’s just one instance. I’ve had private investigators and OSA staff members camped outside my house in vehicles outside my house for weeks at a time. Just out there. Just hanging out. Just watching. Looking who comes and visits me, where I go. I’ve been followed in my vehicle. I’ve been tailed on numerous occasions. My trash bins have been gone through. Three days ago I got a knock on the door in the afternoon, my wife and I were both home with my two children – I have a two year old son and I have a nine week old infant – we got a knock on the door and it was Child Protection Services. Bernie Headley: "Do you know Stephanie? Do you know where she is? Can you contact her?"
Stephanie has a two year old nephew she has never seen, or for that matter, I'm not even sure she knows about him.
Another nephew added 2/27/08! Her mother, Trudy, who is also an "offloaded" Sea Org Scientologist, has never seen her grandsons. She also has not spoken to her own son for at least three years!
My son's wife has family that live within minutes of them and they have not spoken to them either. Her mother has never seen her grandson. Just because my son and his wife decided to leave Scientology! Just because I helped them!Just because we disagree with Scientology! [...]KROQ (April 4, 2008): "Kevin and Bean: Marc Headley" (MP3)
Radio show host: Why did you leave?
Marc Headley: After 15 years I saw stuff and I heard stuff I couldn't believe was happening. David Miscavige himself —
Radio show host: That's the guy that runs Scientology?
Marc Headley: That's the guy that runs Scientology, who is supposedly not the person who runs it because he is in a totally separate branch that's just supposed to police the trademarks, and the copyrights of Scientology, but he runs the day to day activities.
Radio show host: And there was just stuff you saw that convince you you didn't want to be a part of it?
Marc Headley: Yes, physical violence, like — literally mental and emotional torture, things that would blow your mind.
