I haven't seen the place yet, but according to Gregg, it's just a "mission" run out of some member's office, which gets them the 15% FSM commission rather usual 10% out of the Org. Anyone snared there probably gets routed directly to the Org.

Half the building is tax-exempt because it's a "parish" and Co$ Toronto pleaded poverty. Since they're not a charitable organization, I don't see why they should get a tax-break on the backs of Toronto tax-payers. It'd be interesting to check the records of religious/charitable organizations around Toronto to see if any of them get a deal like this.
