Observer's Report:

This is my report, from when I came in:

Zeratul and I arrived at 2pm, very much later in the day. We stopped and greeted Mike and Gregg at the Org, and decided to observe. I was and still am, recovering from a cold turned sinus infection. We went into a store at one point, and when we came back I decided to return to the picket area to watch what was happening. By this point, there was a full blown crowd of people, mostly the Scn handlers. At one point, Gregg was surrounded by an entire group of people. I noticed that Dan was somewhat more aggressive than before, and was right up (I'd say about two inches or so) from Gregg's face. Dan had a lit cigarillo (?) and at one point, had it right near Gregg's face as well. Gregg tried to walk forward, and landed up right into Dan, who was blocking him.

Gregg had to push in order to get past Dan. The only recourse he had was stepping into a very busy Yonge Street, or walking into me, and next to me was Mike.

I was sensing that the atmosphere was getting more and more violent, and finally I asked Gregg, "Do you want me to call the cops?" I had my hand on my cell phone. Gregg said no. I noticed as Gregg was walking, he was being tailed, and followed. Not enough space was given to him in order to walk freely along the sidewalk.

At one point Andy Hill asked me, "What are you doing here?" then brought up something about 53 division. I didn't know what he was talking or babbling about-- so I didn't bother replying.

Both Zeratul and I moved towards the Second Cup and observed that whenever Peter Ramsey or Dan Bryenton are present, the possibility for violence increases exponentially. It was comparable to, as Gregg said later, to a cat who is hissing and growling, and raising the other cats' hackles.

As good as an analogy as any.

Gregg and Mike called it an end at around 3pm or so, and we joined them later on.
