DAYTONA BEACH — The Church of Scientology is not entitled to collect legal fees of $740,000 from the former mayor of Clearwater and his wife who filed and later dropped a lawsuit against the organization, an appeal court ruled Tuesday. Ruling without comment, the 5th District Court of Appeal upheld a lower court decision in the case involving Gabriel and Margaret Cazares.
