Scientology is pervasive in business and has received a big boost in publicity with celebrities at the helm of the PR machine. In this week's Us Weekly, the new Helio phone is featured in the Buzz-o-meter section as a desirable gadget with this celebrity endorsement: "Katie Holmes and Laura Prepon use this phone…" Holmes and Prepon are both Scientologists, and Helio is a Scientology-based company descended from another one, EarthLink.
