Stevens said that what Sam did was basically “helped me (Stevens) move her body back into the
room” (page 42, lines 3-4, deposition transcript).

On April 10, 1997, Barbro Wennberg testified at deposition as a result of a SAO subpoena.

Ms. Wennberg testified that a security guard was posted outside of Lisa’s room (page 13, lines 3- 9, deposition transcript).

Ms. Wennberg was asked “If she tried to walk out the door, would you have allowed her to leave?” and she replied “I don’t know, I can’t say” (page 34, lines 19-21, deposition transcript).

Ms Wennberg was asked “Okay, if she (Lisa) would have tried to walk out that door on the first watch, if she said UI want to go home and I’m going out the door” would you let her go out the door?” and she replied “That is a good question, probably not” (page 48, lines 22-25 and page 49, line 1, deposition transcript).

Ms. Wennberg was asked why security would be contacted if Lisa wanted to leave and she replied” It is a security matter”.

On May 6, 1997, Andrea J. Sprecher testified at deposition as a result of a SAO subpoena. Ms. Sprecher testified that security guards were posted outside of Lisa’s room (page 20, lines 6-12, deposition transcript).

On May 6, 1997, Asher Samuel Ghiora testified at deposition as a result of a SAO subpoena.

Mr. Ghiora testified that he was a security trainee assigned to the Lisa McPherson watch. Mr. Ghiora testified that Lisa had no visitors other then church personnel (page 8, line 25 and page 9, line 1, deposition transcript).

Mr. Ghiora testified “The second night I was there Lisa came out.., came out of the room. I was seated on the bench 15 feet away from the door. She came out of the room and walked toward me. I stood up and she said “You’re not CMO” which is initials for Commodore’s Messenger Organization. It’s a senior organization in the church. Anyway, she said “You’re not CMO”. I said “You’re right” and she said “You can’t tell me what to do” and I said “You’re right”. And then I, you know, put my arm out and pointed in the direction of the door of her room, and she turned around and walked back to the.., back to the room... (page 13, lines 1-5, deposition transcript).

Mr. Ghiora was asked “Did you have the authority to leave.., let Lisa McPherson leave this room if she wanted to go home?” and he replied UI don’t think I did, no” (page 40, lines 19-22, deposition transcript).
